The owners of 433 Day Avenue stepped out on faith – they were the first ones to buy a renovated Miller’s Hill home! This newly married couple wanted to live in the inner-city and were looking for something close to downtown. They also wanted something with a rich history, but with the feel of an updated home. They reported that 433 was “a perfect fit!”

When asked what they like most about their home, the couple responded, “The original oak woodwork, including the staircase and fireplaces, are our favorite feature. We also enjoy the large rooms that they included in houses a hundred years ago. We have plenty of space. To have a home built in the early 1900’s that has all new systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) and is very energy efficient is wonderful!” The couple also said that they love the neighborhood. They report that, “In Old Southwest you will find more people committed to our neighborhood than anywhere else in the region.”
