The home at 429 Day Avenue will probably be the last one on the North side of the block to be renovated. It is currently serving as an office for the renovation work being done on the street. The home comes complete with a delightful love story. Once upon a time, a little boy and girl grew up on the 400 block of Day Avenue. The little boy lived at 411 Day Avenue, and the little girl lived at 429 Day Avenue. They met when they were in the third grade. The little girl immediately liked the little boy, but he was shy. It was not until they were in the sixth grade that he got the nerve to ask her out. When the little boy and girl grew up they married, and are still, many years later, happily married.
